Fernando de Noronha is 545 km from the coast of Pernambuco and has approximately 3,500 inhabitants. There are 17km² of pure nature and one of the most desired points on Earth. This Ecological Sanctuary is composed of 21 islands, being the main and largest the only inhabited (also called Fernando de Noronha). The other 20 are in the surroundings of the Marine National Park, not inhabited and can only be visited with permission from ICMBio. You need at least 5 days to experience the beauty of the archipelago, which features archaeological attractions, diving spots (with 5 famous shipwrecks), surfing beaches (known as the "Brazilian Hawaii") and great walks around the island.
